The perfect dress for a buffet
Whenever I go out to eat, I always plan my outfits around how much I expect to be eating. So more often than not, who am I kidding.... all the freaking time, I spend most of my allocated 'getting ready' time staring at my wardrobe because I don't have enough 'fat dresses'. No joke I considered getting some cute maternity dresses just for going out to dinner. lol. I haven't gone that far yet, but I was so excited when I scored this Thurley dress on sale a while back! It was the perfect dress to devour buffets :) It's dressy and loose fitting so you won't see any sign of a food baby!! I was a bit skeptical at first, because I bought it online and no product pictures showed the black version; but it quickly became my new favourite dress when it arrived. It's quite elaborated so the key to styling a dress like this, so it doesn't look like you are going to a funeral, is to keep the accessories simple but add a pop of colour.
The perfect opportunity to christian the dress was on our early anniversary dinner over the weekend. We enjoyed a 5 course degustation menu at an Italian restaurant we hadn't been to yet. The restaurant is called Delizioso and the food was amazing! The reservation was for lunch and it looked out over a beach, so I went with flats for the occasion. The dress is available again but Thurley have brought it back with a slightly different embroidery; I also linked some other cute loose fitting dresses. The sunglasses I have on come with a few versions of the lens -my exact ones are the gold mirrored version.
