A quick trip to Noosa Heads
The end of last week my sister, Donnah, and I headed north to Noosa Heads for a quick trip. It's a popular holiday spot and a 3-hour drive from where we live. We had it booked for a while and October is a great time to visit, but just our luck, as we got there a storm was supposed to be coming! Lucikly the whole time it was just spurts of rain and overcast. On the second day it was bright and sunny for half a day so we made the most of it, swimming in the hotel pool and going for a big walk bright an early! Donnah is never awake before me, but from 6 am she kept asking me if I was awake every 5 minutes until I gave in lol. Aside from the beach, boutique shopping and restaurants, Noosa has some great walking tracks.
One of the main things we were looking forward to was dining at the Noosa Beach House Peter Kuruvita Restaurant and Bar. He is a popular chef in Australia along with a global presence and focuses on Sri Lankan style seafood dishes. As you can see from the photos, the food certainly did not disappoint, it tasted amazing! It was also nice to have lots of options on the menu that Donnah was actually allowed to eat. If you stay at the Sofitel Hotel, formerly known as the Sheraton hotel, the room service menu is also what you get at the Noosa Beach House Peter Kuruvita Day Bar. We also tried out the Riviera Bar and Lounge inside the Sofitel Hotel; the food is tapas and it overlooks the Noosa River. We were a bit sceptical looking at the menu options, but really enjoyed it as well!
I had planned on taking blog photos but with the unpredictable weather, we just snapped some quick photos with our phones. I got so many compliments on this outfit, and the best part is that everything was budget friendly! The cardigan and dress are also still available and currently on sale! I linked other similar options as well, to recreate this look in your own way :) Don't forget to follow along on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and Youtube for more inspo!
